Multi-Layer Plastic Pouches

We have all seen the growth in multi-layer flexible laminated pouches. This short video shows the benefits of this type of packaging and gives an overview of the various types of materials.

While these materials are not widely recycled, the good news is that industry is trying to find ways to recover them in a manner that is economically viable. The challenges with recovery are a lack of consumer awareness and automated sorting systems, as well as how to separate of the materials while retaining their properties.
